Privacy Policy

GrowIQs helps you understand how your Instagram is growing, and will send you a simple daily report on WhatsApp once that feature launches. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it. We keep it minimal, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

When you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account through Instagram's official login, GrowIQs accesses only your own account's data to build your analytics. This includes your profile (username, profile picture, and follower, following and post counts); your insights from Instagram (reach, views and impressions, profile visits, website taps, and audience demographics such as age range, gender and country); and per-post metrics for your own posts, reels and stories (likes, comments, saves, shares and reach). If you give us your email — or, once our WhatsApp report is live, your WhatsApp number — we use it only to deliver your reports.

We also record anonymous, aggregated usage of the GrowIQs website itself (which pages and buttons get used) to improve the product. Our own usage counter uses no cookies and never stores your IP address.

Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead people to visit growiqs.com and connect an account. This sets Meta cookies (such as _fbp) in your browser and sends Meta standard events (page view, “clicked connect”, “account connected”, “started checkout”) with technical data such as your IP address and browser. We never send Meta your Instagram statistics, messages, or payment details. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings or your Meta ad preferences.

We never see or store your Instagram password. Login happens securely through Instagram and Meta — you approve the connection, and you can remove it at any time.

Optional features you switch on

Two features act on your Instagram account, and only if you turn them on and grant the extra permission Instagram asks for at that moment.

Comment automations. When you create a rule (“if someone comments this keyword on my post, send them this message”), Instagram notifies us of new comments on your posts. We check each comment against your rules and, on a match, send the reply you wrote as a direct message to that commenter, once, and optionally post your public reply under their comment. We keep the comment's ID, the commenter's username and the comment text for 30 days so you can see what was sent; then it is deleted. Comments that match no rule trigger nothing.

Scheduled posting. When you schedule a photo or video, we store the file on our server only until Instagram has published it (or the post fails or is cancelled), then delete it. We publish exactly what you scheduled, at the time you chose, and nothing else.

How we use it

We use this information to create your analytics, deliver your daily growth report, and run the optional features above on your behalf. That's it.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We never post, comment or message anyone from your account except through a rule or schedule you created yourself, and you can turn those off or remove our access from Instagram at any time.

How we store and protect it

Your Instagram access token is encrypted before it is stored, and is used only to fetch your stats from Meta on your behalf. We keep your data only for as long as your account stays connected.

Deleting your data

You are always in control. You can disconnect GrowIQs at any time from your Instagram settings under "Apps and Websites", which instantly revokes our access. To delete everything we hold about you, email us at support@growiqs.com and we will permanently remove it.

GrowIQs uses the official Meta APIs and follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Instagram and WhatsApp are products of Meta Platforms, Inc. GrowIQs is an independent tool and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Meta.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of GrowIQs means you accept the current version.
